Submitting reports on Racial Justice / Social Justice Activities: Racial Justice Reports are due August 30th. Please email reports to Connie Matthew-Warren [click on name to e-mail] .
Racial Justice Reports are a paragraph identifying a group that is Racial Justice Reports are due Aug 30th. The report is a paragraph on your units' activities and how these activities are bringing about justice. Any member can submit the report with an email to [email protected].
Is your unit one that provides meals or food? Clothes? Hold a discussion on WHO this charity is helping. Are you seeing more immigrates? Did you add information regarding immigrate right? Support services? Policies that are affecting this group? Are you seeing more homeless in your food line? Are jobs scarce? Is it access to the internet that makes searching for jobs difficult? Are there local services available?
Has your unit held a discussion on local education? Or a discussion on your city's policies on housing, road work, clean water, access to resources? Did you read any books on Climate Justice? Issues with Indigenous People? Decreasing anxiety or finding hope?
Advocacy work takes time and continues education, reading and watching policies at local, state and national levels. Send me an email regarding your new and continued activities and discussions ( or reasons) of why these activities are important to your group. I would like to hear from EVERY unit, all 35 of you.
