The donated funds will be sent to South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership (SSIP) food closet ' The South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership (SSIP) is one of the top food closets in South Sacramento which distributed food last year to over 2,720 households for a total of 11,028 individuals. It is an organization that has 4 part time staff with over 150 volunteers a month who come to help with the food distribution. They have volunteers who pick up food from local grocery stores, fresh produce from local farms and with the help of Sacramento Food Bank * Family Services. With the pandemic starting in March 2020, SSIP has seen a client increase of 135%. A strict campaign to keep the Food Closet sanitized, clean and safe for volunteers, is another challenge that requires ongoing vigilance. SSIP thanks you for your donation as all are welcome to receive food.

Sam Kauffman, internationally known Christian singer, retreat leader, writer, workshop presenter, songwriter, dramatist and recording artist, a roster artist with NEAG, does not remember a time when God and music were not central to her life.
Born into a musical family in Seattle, Washington, Sam started studying music when she was five years old and continued those studies as a music major at the University of Washington. From childhood, she knew she wanted a lifelong relationship with the Lord.
Since starting a Servant’s Heart Ministry and Music twenty-five plus years ago, Sam has presented over 2,000 concerts, programs and retreats along with seventeen original, one-woman, musical biblical dramas. She has traveled extensively across the United States and internationally singing in Europe and Canada along with adjudicating vocal competitions for GMA, presenting workshops and performing for CITA and NEAG. Sam enjoys working with churches across the US as a workshop presenter, retreat leader, program presenter, dramatist and speaker.
Over the past twenty-four years, Sam has set 130 of the Psalms to music while conducting workshops and classes on the Psalms. She studied Liturgy while directing a church choir for many years along with directing youth musicals for six years.
As a former Christian school teacher, professional staff member of Camp Fire Boys and Girls and Director/Producer of local youth musicals, Sam has had vast experience working with children of all ages and developing programs for children, youth and families centered around the challenges of children.
Sam has seven albums available, The Breath of Grace, The Little Star, In This Room, The Gift of Frankincense, Joanna – Woman of the Cross, Treasure of the Heart and Jericho Road released in December of 2015. Sam’s music has received national radio air play. One of Sam’s songs, In This Room, has been adopted as the international theme song of Kairos Outside, a prison ministry, and is sung worldwide. Her first book, Maddy, Courage and Heart – Life Lessons from a Puppy Handbook, was released in December, 2013.
Sam is a wife and mother now living in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and one mischievous Wheaten Terrier. When at home she loves to cook, garden, read, write, compose music, do needle and craft projects and walk. As a former ski instructor, skiing remains one of her passions.
